Camp Wanakita - Feb 2009

I had so much memories there, stayed for 2 days with all 5th grader in my school. I really missed the camp....it's huge and so adventuring. I enjoyed cross country skiing and firecamp in the centre of a frozen lake!!!!

It was so awesome!!!!!!

Camp Wanakita is about 3.5-hours from our school. Too boring to get there by school bus. All the kids were so bored and sleepy, because we left the school at 6 am sharp! oooooh...so....cold....and.....not....fun....!!!

I stayed in a cabin of 7 girls and 1 supervisor (who's happened to be my mom as a volunteer). This is my 1st time going out for a camp and away from home with my schoolmates for more than a day!. I wanna go again......!

Leaves...leaves....

What I love about fall, is its beautiful colour. All leaves are turning yellow, red, orange, purple, or whatever they turning to......they all give me strength. The weather has been so friendly lately, except the cold virus that has been around my family. My parents never stop raking the leaves and they took forever to finish them all. I promised MOM to help her raking, she promised me to "pay" me $5! Finally, my wallet is not going to be empty anymore! Yipee.

The winter is almost there......I can't wait to see snow and make an "mister Elvis" like I did last year. It's already November, meaning...the mister Klaus is still making the snow with the snow-machine up in the cloud somewhere.

November....what a messy messy month....

in the past 1 month....(gee...I haven't written for so long!) these are my works. I have been busy for my school works and lessons. I am addicted to my guitar lately, and has been practicing bunch of JB songs. yeah...JB.

My gramma tought me how to crochet, and I think I enjoy it. Mom bought me the a crocheting hook and yarn last night and here it is... A tiny bag for my backpack... I'm not all that good though...

Thank You, Dad!

One day my family and I went to the Burlington Mall to look around and have some "quick dinner". Mom wasn't feeling well that night and decided to have dinner out. Eating at a mall's food court is not at all fancy, but we enjoyed it because we did window shopping and took a bit of a walk.

We stopped at my Dad's favorite shop ; The Source, a shop that sells some kinds of electronics and men's gadgets. Dad was looking around and found some of his stuff. Before we left the store, out of the blue he asked the guy if he had a drawing pad for computer. We had one before but it broke (not my fault!!!) . I don't want to beg my parents for $100 pad, I know it's not cheap for such a thing. The guy pointed to the corner of the shelf, there's a drawing pad called "Bamboo" by Wacom. Cost $149. And my Dad bought it for me....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Dad............!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you Dad...........!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been long time, since the last time I used a pad for Photoshop or anything else. I miss it. Now I promise myself, I have to make at least 1 drawing a day. Mom has been keeping all my 'masterpieces' in her folder, because she said I might need them for getting a job someday.

Birthday Present for Batool

I am making a 'special' birthday card for my friend, Batool.

Mom made this little pouch for her shop, and finally she let me have this as a present. I also bought about 10 pairs of cute earrings for Batool (with my own allowance money), and I put them inside the pouch. Hopefully she likes them...
